Sportland K\u00f5rvemaa Hiking and Skiing Center is establishing the “Sportland K\u00f5rvemaa Kuuse Family Center Recreation Village” in the beautiful natural environment of K\u00f5rvemaa, presenting the achievements of famous Estonian sports and Olympic heroes.<\/p>\n

The tourism product to be established is sustainable and environmentally friendly, focusing on introducing the local environment and the peculiarities of the region. As a result of the implementation of the project:<\/p>\n

By the late fall of 2022, we will build two A-shaped two-story family houses, which will be named after Estonian Olympic heroes. The holiday homes are furnished with sports heroes’ achievements, symbols, and interactive information (in Estonian, English, or Russian, depending on the guest’s nationality).<\/p>\n

The houses are designed energy-efficiently, with a local heating system, as wooden buildings and with a lot of glass surfaces, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of K\u00f5rvemaa’s nature at any time of the year.<\/p>\n

The family houses are designed by well-known BOA architects.<\/p>\n

The project is funded as part of the European Union\u2019s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
